Family Support Services
Our Family Support Services help youth and their families lead healthy, stable lives in the communities that they call home.
Goals & Objectives
In providing services to youth in foster care or families in the community, Ohio MENTOR develops a service delivery system that provides for the unique needs of each individual we serve. This is accomplished through:
- A strength-based approach which focuses on existing positive characteristics to promote change in identified problem areas.
- Individualized Service Plans (ISPs).
- A trained, competent and culturally diverse staff.
- Appropriate use of community services and programs to enhance the personal and social growth of the children and families served.
Ohio MENTOR monitors the progress made by each individual and conducts satisfaction surveys. Continuity of care provided through psychiatric support treatment services enable individuals to return to their biological families or a family interested in adoption as quickly as possible while providing a safety net for the child and family to use following reunification.
